Before you contact me to schedule a session, I ask that you take a look at this page to determine if my photography is within your budget. MLP is a full service studio, so if you are looking for a photographer to just take a couple snap shots and hand over a disk with of tons of images, then I probably am not your photographer.
Creative Fees
Belly or Madonna – $125
Belly or Madonna sessions typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, either in studio or on location. A Belly Session is most comfortably done at the end of the 2nd trimester. Madonna Session is a series of images that include one or both parents, with some individual images of baby.
Newborn – $175
A newborn session lasts between 2-3.5 hours in length. We build in plenty of time for feeding and calming baby. We suggest that newborn sessions are scheduled at the end of the 2nd trimester of pregnancy. Session will be done before 14 days of life. This may or may not include images with siblings or parents.
Child or Family – $125
These sessions include any immediate family members (the furry kind too!). They last around 1 hour, depending on the temperament of the child(ren).
Birth Journey – packages starting at $475
Your babies entrance into this world is a miraculous occasion! Moms partner is a part of that journey, and should not be relegated to the job of taking pictures. Let MLP come into the birthing area to document the start of this journey. All Birth Journeys come with an album and/or DVD. We are open to hospital, birth center, and homebirths. Melissa has also been invited into a two cesarean sections!
Baby’s First Year –
This includes a 3 month, 6 month, and 1 year session. Please contact us for current promotions.
Limited Editions –
A few times a year, MLP offers mini sessions that are 20 to 30 minutes in length. We will try accommodate as many groupings as possible within a family. Examples of mini sessions may be: Come see Santa!, Be my Valentine, Beach Sessions, At the Fair (Faire). We have many ideas to come!
Product Investment
We offer a wide variety of professional products that range from mounted gift prints, wall art, albums, digital images, and printed products such as greeting cards. Our clients typically spend an average of $425, but that is definitely not a requirement. Please contact us for current product offering and pricing.
We offer many collections, starting at $175. These may include gift prints (8×10 and smaller), wall art (singles and collages), cards, and digital images. We are also planning to offer jewelry, wood and tile prints, bags and purses, and many other portrait related products in the future!
