Today is Sunday, and it will be as much of a Sabbath as I can muster.  I still have 3 kiddos to care for, a dog to pay attention to, a husband who is training for the Fargo marathon and training hard for a Boston qualifying time, tax preparation, and finish cleaning from a very large freezer meal day yesterday where 7 moms made 16 meals for 11 families.  Yes, that was a lot of food!  And needing to prep breakfasts and lunches for the upcoming week, along with a slew of other household chores.

But in all that, I will take time to thank God for the new friends I made on Wednesday, and the friends who thought of me when tragedy struck.  It is not time to tell my story, but I wanted to thank Hannah and Brandon for welcoming me into their grief, their sorrow, their joy in knowing their baby boys are pure and whole, sitting at the feet of our Father.  It is not time to tell my story, because Hannah and Brandon’s is still being written.

They are such strong, faith-filled parents.  I can not imagine the heartbreak of losing a child, let alone two at the same time.

Thank you, Brandon and Hannah for opening your world to me on that day.  For allowing me to be a part of your family, your support team, and hopefully – a new friend.

The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
