I met Ashley at an All About Doula night for The Childbirth Collective earlier this year. Birth professionals gather with expecting families and teach on the role of a doula during the labor and birthing time of a family. I absolutely love the Collective and it’s well, collective, love for everything expecting and raising babies.

So, we mingle afterwards, and Ashley and I get to talking about her wishes and desires of her upcoming birth. Her mother in law is with her and tells us all about birthing her babies years ago. Ashley has a Wizard of Oz theme for the nursery – it’s so beautiful! We talked about doing a milk bath with poppies and rub red slippers – my hear was all a flutter!

I can’t wait to meet their little princess!
